About the founding project: PaceUP Invest is a fintech company based in Germany and France providing tools to help women and underrepresented communities learn how to invest, manage their money, and gain financial independence while developing healthy financial wellness.

Phase of the founding project: Seed stage

About the founding team: With years of experience in Investment Banking, Investment, and Wealth Management, my mission is to help more women and underrepresented become financially independent and empowered. I am highly engaged in helping women and the underrepresented communities take control of their money, finances, investments, and lives through education, advisory, and investing to reach their goals. As a female founder with fiduciary responsibilities, I have experienced what it felt like to be left behind when it comes to the financial industry primarily investing. I am passionate about helping others to reach their financial goals either through their finances, careers or businesses

About the position:

Position: Community Manager

Time Commitment: Part-time

Tasks and Areas:

  • Collaborate with the team to craft and implement community management strategy that differentiates our platform, and engages and retains our members.
  • Partner with team to develop new member onboarding strategies.
  • Create and manage content calendar.
  • Create, produce, and aggregate relevant multimedia content for the PaceUP Invest community portal and all communication channels (e.g. website, social media, emails, etc. and members-only community portal.)
  • Actively encourage member participation in the community - e.g. invite relevant members to take active roles (member spotlights, blog posts, etc.), identify opportunities for members to help each other and connect them as needed.
  • Promote events and other initiatives to the community.
  • Formulate member surveys and interviews and oversee execution with team.
  • Actively monitor the community pulse (new opportunities, changing needs, etc.) and socialise with the team.
  • Manage PaceUP Invest database.
  • Partner with team to define overall and channel specific KPIs, track, analyse, and report performances.
  • Ensure brand and tone consistency across every community touch point.
  • Track and socialise best-practices from competitive and adjacent communities.
  • Support in member acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Grow the community through business development.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years community management experience.
  • Passionate about the cause.
  • Basic knowledge about investor community - nice to have.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; German and French are pluses.
  • Business development.
  • Above average English copywriting skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Ability to create content.
  • Prior experience in using content creation (video, images, graphics) tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
