Pınar Oezalp was born in Eskisehir, Turkey, and studied economics in Heidelberg. She started her career at SAP and used to be a business processes consultant. Since October 2018 she has been the product owner of the Cloud Availability Center.
She deals with topics such as behavioral economics because she is convinced that people are not just “homo oeconomicus.” Behavioral economics, she says, help her understand how she behaves – and why. The mother of a three-and-a-half year-old daughter is a frequent reader and usually has four to five books in parallel. She has been doing Thai boxing for seven years and started running in her teenage years. How does she manage this immense workload? “I’m a workaholic and enjoy having a lot to do.” Pınar lives with her daughter, her husband (a hotelier), and tomcat Simba in Heidelberg.
