Caitlin Arnould was born in the USA, however she currently lives in Berlin. At university, she studied literature and acquired bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She has been working as a journalist and in media and technology sales. Three months ago, Caitlin started her own podcast called Beauty Is Eternal, where she hosts and interviews various guests and explores topics from nutrition and online dating to grief and mental health. She does all of the design, writing, filming, editing, and social media for her podcast herself as well as marketing for her boyfriend’s rum company, so her days can be quite hectic!
Wake up and cuddle with my boyfriend in bed and think about the things for which I am grateful.
Make french-press coffee with coconut milk and stevia and eat scrambled eggs and plain yoghurt.
Check emails and social media notifications and choose items from my to-do list for the day.
09:30 – 10:00
Prepare interview outline for upcoming podcast, including background of guest and potential questions – in this case a podcast on the Egyptian pharaoh Nefertiti.
10:00 – 12:00
Meditation focused on raising my vibration, snack on some almonds and dark chocolate.
12:00 – 12:30
Bike to my gym, Soho House, for a quick workout.
12:30 – 13:45
Stay at Soho House to work; research a few potential guests and themes for podcast, and contact them via email and social media.
Meet a friend for coffee around Mitte (central Berlin) and co-work together while chatting about her love life.
Edit audio and video for an upcoming podcast episode about The Honest Guys, using Audacity for audio and Movavi for video. A one-hour podcast takes around 6-10 hours to edit for audio alone, depending on how much editing is required.
Check emails again and respond to future and past guests.
Bike to grocery store and then home.
Use Instagram and Facebook for the three accounts I work on (my podcast, my boyfriend’s rum company, and my father’s professional page) while preparing dinner.
Have dinner with my boyfriend, who gets home around this time, and spend some quality time together.
Work on future social media campaigns using Canva to edit photos.
Talk to my family (who are six hours behind in the US) on Whatsapp, read the book of one of my guests, Mykel Hawke, about survival, and chat with my boyfriend.
Go to sleep.
