According to the World Bank, global waste generation is expected to rise by 70% by 2050 if no action is taken. This increase is primarily driven by population growth, urbanization, and changing consumption patterns. But we have a choice and can take action to change these numbers.
On Monday June 12th at 17:00 CEST, we invited two start-ups from the CIRCULAZE 2022 long-list to give their pitches for better waste management solutions. From reducing and reusing plastics to preventing microplastics from entering our oceans, our start-ups shared their innovative solutions with us. Check out the recap here:
