Let’s have a little talk about the results of our last Sunday survey. Topic this time was ‘today’s world of work’. First of all we wanted to know what you associate with today’s working world. Also whether individual possibilities or a structured career path is more important to you; whether in your opinion globalization contributes to an ideal working environment and if you think that automation contributes to a better working environment. Finally wanted to know your thoughts about the following statement: “In the future, politics will enable employees to play a greater role in shaping the world of work than they do today.”
The results showed that a majority of 57% associate technological progress with today’s working world. For 43%, it means constant pressure. On the next question, everyone was pretty much in agreement: 92% said that individual possibilities at work were more important than a structured career path (8%). Also quite clear were the opinions on the subject of globalization. 78% think that indeed globalization contributes to an ideal working environment, 22% that this is not the case. As for the question if you think that automation contributes to a better working environment 92% stated that it’s definitely the truth and 8% disagreed. For the last statement the opinions diverge again a little bit more: 62% are convinced that in the future, politics will enable employees to play a greater role in shaping the world of work, 38% think the opposite.
