Let’s have a little talk about the results of our last sunday survey. It was all about having children in our today’s society. We asked you if you somehow feel pressure by society when it comes to having children; whether you have been approached at work about motherhood and if yes, if they were of positive or negative nature. Finally we asked you if you are happy with the maternity and paternity regulations in your country.
The results show that a majority of 62% in point of fact feel pressure by society when it comes to having children, while only 38% don’t. For the question if you have been approached at work about motherhood we have a result of 58% saying that indeed they have been approached about that topic, whereas 42% haven’t. Shocking about it: 53% of you voted that if you have been approached, it was of negative nature. For our last question we had an outcome of 46% to 54%. The majority (54%) is not satisfied with the maternity and paternity regulations in their country – well, it seems there is a lot of change potential here.
