The IT Ambassador

Kenza Ait Si Abbou Lyadini was born in Africa, studied in Spain, Germany, and China, and now works as Senior Manager of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at Deutsche Telekom in Berlin. In December, 2018, she was awarded the “Digital Female Leader Award” (category: IT/Tech). Here she explains what drives her – in 99 words:

“I encourage process automation in Europe through robotics and artificial intelligence solutions. In addition, I manage my employer’s regional women’s network because it’s important to me to motivate women, and especially young girls, to get involved here. My latest project is an artificial intelligence hackathon for ladies. Why I am doing this? I want to get more women excited about my work. Because, after all, you don’t have to have a tech background to deal with artificial intelligence. We also need women from other disciplines like economy, psychology, communications, or medicine to contribute to the development.”
