In one sentence: What motivates you?

Everybody needs to develop the skills to shape technology to their needs and for the good of the planet. That is what I’d like to contribute to.

In two sentences: In your opinion, why do diversity and digitalization belong together?

Digitalisation and AI are bringing the deepest changes to society of the last 500 years. Therefore, it is critical that the ideas that shape these technologies are as diverse as the people themselves.

In three sentences: Do you have a role model? If yes, who and why?

The work of Simone Giertz is inspiring because she is completely open about her approach but also fully serious about building “shitty robots”. She had brain surgery earlier this year to remove a tumor. I hope I have the resources to deal with my own breast cancer as graciously as she did. In addition to Simone, I get inspired by Ayah Bdeir, founder of Little Bits. She is, just like Simone, an inventor with a playful mind. Thank you Simone and Ayah!
